Abstract

Entrepreneurship Plays A Crucial Role In The Growth Of Any Society Particularly In A Fast Developing Country Like India. The Entrepreneur Is An Important Agent In Our Society, Who Can Be A Catalyst Of Social And Economic Changes. As A Career, It Can Offer Unlimited Scope For Development And Diversity Of Choices. Institutions Of Higher Learning Play A Vital Role In Developing Entrepreneurship. Today Most Of The Students Pursue Higher Education In Order To Acquire Jobs. If Education Can Be Offered With Entrepreneurship Orientation It Would Wipe Out The Rush For Jobs, As Students Would Take Up Self-Employment Careers. Such An Option Would Help The Family And The Society Indirectly. From The Study, It Is Witnessed That, The Majority Of The Boys (40 Per Cent) And Girls (44 Per Cent) Were Agreed That They Always Want To Be An Entrepreneur. It Is Also Found That, The Majority Of The Boys (52 Per Cent) And Girls (44 Per Cent) Were Agreed That They Will Do The Necessary Things To Start A Business. Hence, It Is Suggested That, The Role Of The Government, Universities, Educational Institutions And The Students Becomes A Paramount Importance For The Development Of Entrepreneurial Inclination Among The Students.
