Family Wellbeing among Caregivers of Patients with Mental Illness

Abstract
Background: The present study assesses the family wellbeing among caregivers of patients with mental illness.
Methods: The research design adopted for this study was a non-experimental descriptive study. The study was
conducted at Sri Ramachandra Institute of higher education and research (DU). Results: The study findings
revealed that (23%) of the caregivers had a low level of family wellbeing, (73%) of caregivers had a moderate
level of family wellbeing, (4%) of caregivers had a high level of family wellbeing. Conclusion: This present
study concludes that the majority of caregivers had a moderate level of family wellbeing.
