Abstract
The compressive strength and permeation characteristics of geopolymer concrete produced with low calcium fly ash as the
principal binder activated with two different molarities incorporated with the optimum quantity of Alccofine 1203 compared with
two various grades of conventional concrete are shown in this study. Permeable voids and water absorption tests were used to
study the durability aspect, as permeability has a direct impact on durability qualities. The test results show that alccofine-based
Geopolymer concrete has higher compressive strength and lower water permeability than conventional concrete, enhancing the
durability of geopolymer concrete under ambient curing conditions. This encourages the use of geopolymer concrete under
ambient curing conditions, promising its application in general construction.
