Abstract

Data fusion is the process of combining multiple similar data’s together to obtain single data value. In IoT environment there is an possibility of collection of similar data from multiples devices which needs to be combined together to obtain the fused data. In our previous research work it is done by introducing the method namely Semantic based Hierarchical Data Fusion Technique (SHDFT). However in this work energy factors are not considered which is most essential thing. And also handling large volume of data is not focused in this work. In the proposed work, these issues are focused and resolved by introducing the method namely Energy aware Fuzzy Data Fusion Framework (EFDFF). Here initially input data is fed into the map reduce component and it is partitioned for processing using network aware partitioning procedure. After data partition, fuzzy data fusion is carried. Finally fused data’s combined together to obtain the final outcome. This proposed method guaranteed a energy aware data handling. The performance analysis of the research work is done the matlab environment from which it is proved that the proposed technique obtained better outcome than the existing research techniques.
