PCR Detection of Biofilm Gene of Klebsiellaoxytoca isolated from Sinusitis Infections
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study aimed to detected the predominance of biofilm formation gene in Klebsiellaoxytoca isolated from sinusitis infection, therfor , 156 of sinusitis swabs were collected from nasal infection, and cultured on suitable media (Manitol ,MacConkey and Chocolat agar), the result appear 122 of specimens were gave bacterial growth ,primary identification were depend on morphological and culture characters , biochemical test and finally identification with vitek-2 system . The bacterial growth were represnted by 52(42.6%) of isolates were gram positive and 70 (57.4%) were gram negative bacteria , from gram negative 18(14.7%) of isolates were identified as Klebsiellaoxytoca. genetically PCR technique were used to invistigated thepredominance of study mrkA, fimA , matB, pilQ, pilL,genes encoding biofilm formation in Klebsiellaoxytoca isolates , the result indecated that (50%) of isolates mrkA genes , (66%) from isolates gave positive result tofimA gene and matB gene were found in (94%) of bacterial isolates while pilL genes were found in(72%) and pilQ genes were detected in (89%) of isolates .
