Hundreds of qualities of our people - humanity, patriotism, honesty, truthfulness, courage, kindness and devotion - are glorified in the epics. He called people to goodness. The melody of the drum has found its way into people's hearts through the text of the epic. It is our epics and narrators who have made a great contribution to the fact that our immortal traditions and values have been valued for many years and are still respected today like bread.

Epics, along with other genres of folklore, are not only our centuries-old spiritual heritage, but also a source of transmission of our national values, traditions and customs from generation to generation. Therefore, as long as there is a nation, epics do not lose their significance, and bakhshis live as people of national honor. This opinion was expressed by the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his speech at the opening ceremony of the I International Festival of Bakhchisarai in Termez in 2019.[1]

Folk epics are not only a means of conveying ideas, but also the founder of our many thousands of years of spiritual heritage. According to researchers, our national identity, the moral norms of our people were first sung in ancient epics. Therefore, folklore in general, and epics in particular, are considered to be one of the ancient sources of our national spirituality. “Uzbek folk epics, especially romantic epics, are one of the sources of our spirituality. The multi-type epic heritage of the Uzbek people has emerged as a product of long historical periods. This spiritual treasure has served and will continue to play an important, invaluable role in educating people in the spirit of love, compassion and devotion to man and the Motherland.”[2]

The Surkhandarya school of baxshichism has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the art of baxshichi in Uzbekistan. There is no doubt that Surkhandarya is one of the leaders not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the world in terms of the number of fans of this ancient art, the diversity of performers.
