Effectiveness of Post Stroke Rehabilitation Therapy Online Information module on Knowledge among Staff Nurses

Abstract

Stroke ismore common now day in developing as well as developed countries and one of the major causes of disability. Rehabilitation plays an important role in curing the patient with stroke.Nurses plays an important role in rehabilitation phase of stroke so nurses need to educated well in termed of updates in rehabilitation therapy evolved in modern science.The study aims to assess the preintervention knowledge on post stroke rehabilitation therapy online module among staff nurses & to assess the effectiveness of post stroke rehabilitation therapy online module on knowledge among staff nurses. Quantitative approach with One group pre-test-post-test was used as research design. 40 Sample were selected with purposive sampling. Results revealedthat the postinterventional knowledge score(27.92) was higher than of preinterventional knowledge scores(8.37) as evidenced by t = 28.23 (p<0.05), which showed that there was effectiveness of online information module regarding post stroke rehabilitation therapy, it also reveals that there was poor association between preinterventionalknowledge regarding post stroke rehabilitation therapy among staff nurses and the selected demographic variables.
