Abstract

The present study was designed to explore the area of career maturity inthe self-esteem of secondary school students. The study was done on a sample of 50 secondary school students of the Mohali area district of Punjab. Career maturity inventory by Dr. Nirmala Gupta (2013), Self-esteem inventory by Rosenberg (1965) was used to collect the data. The coefficient of correlation was calculated to find the relationship between career maturity and self-esteem and the t-value to find the difference in career maturity of secondary school students concerning gender. The study concluded that career maturity has a positive relationship with self-esteem. Male are more career mature as compared to females.
