Clinical-Neurological and Neurocognitive Indicators Against the Background of Neuroprotective Therapy in Vertebro-Basilar Insufficiency in Patients with Symptoms of Cerebral Venous Dyscirculation

Abstract

 60 patients with CCI were examined. VBI with symptoms of cerebral venous circulation disorders. We divided all patients into two groups: The main group - 30 patients with a diagnosis of CCI, VBI and symptoms of cerebral venous circulation disorders, they received Cytoflavin according to the scheme against the background of standard basic therapy (acetylsalicylic acid and antihypertensive drugs), 30 patients in the comparison group - only basic therapy. In the course of the study, a significant decrease in the frequency of complaints, including specific venous complaints, the severity of the cephalgic syndrome, asthenic and autonomic disorders was established in the main group; there was an improvement in the quality of life, the state of cerebral hemodynamics at all structural and functional levels improved.
